cost collector and net order price

Hi all,

I need some information on effect of `cost collector field' in `order type dependent parameter' config screen.

I understand that it is to calculate the work in progress and variance by period.

But how to maintain this field in the case of manufacturing order type (of discrete category).

Because it is not allowing to maintain when the distribution rule is with full settlement.

Please clarify me if anybody knows about this
