what is use of org levels " , @ , ' while creating Master roles and derived roles in sap security.

Hi Experts,

when i observe my clients master roles and derived roles org levels.

i could find the org levels " , @ , '.

1.How ,why ,in what situation this place holders help in Master role and derived roles??.

2. how many are there to use as place holders other than " , @ , ' .

Kindly help on this.

Hello,

as for all abap authorization related limitations, the available placeholders are : *


no other placeholders are valid. What you found (

" , @ , '

) are treated as normal values and not as placeholders.

Probably the Client treats them as proforma placeholders... in fact that are no placeholders. Ask your Client about his/her Intention....
