How to pass node value to a field PI message mapping

Hi,

How to pass a node value to the target field in message mapping?

For ex:

<A>

1

<B>2</B>

</event>

Now how to pass value "1" to target field?

Please help.

    Hello,

    can you post input and output XMLs for more understanding.

    simple one to one mapping should work.

    Hi,

    i dont have full xml, i.e. its only input xml i have:

    <?xml version="1.0"?>

    <employee>

    <Status>A</emplStatus> <date>2016-10-11</date>

    <success>1 <fail>3</fail> </success>

    <textpassed>false</textpassed>

    <Status>A</emplStatus> how open and close tags are different.

    Please post the messge type screenshots or message mapping screenshots

    Your xml is not well formed. Kindly get the xsd validated with the business.
