0FIGL_C10 or 0FIGL_C01

Hi All ,

I'm in mid of implementing P&L and Balance sheet reporting via BW and not sure which data source to use . I went through the SAP helpand they have 2 option which is reporting based on 0FIGL_C10 which is based on data source 0FI_GL_10 or 0FIGL_C0 which make use of 0FI_GL_1data source

Can anyone advice me on which is better to be used and what is the diffrence between this two

Hi,

The 0FIGL_C01 cube fetches the data from 0FI_GL_1 datasource. The 0FI_GL_1 does not support delta updates.

The 0FIGL_C10(new) is based on the datasource 0FI_GL_10 which supports delta loads.

If configured OLD G/L ledger accounting, go with the old flow i.e 0FIGL_006 ---> 0FIGL_C01 ---> 0FIGL_VC1 else

for NEW G/L configuration use the flow

0FIGL_O10>0FIGL_C10>0FIGL_V10

OLD G/L Ledger uses tables

NEW G/L Ledger uses table

As a part of sanity check ,verify entries in above tables to confirm with which G/L account is used,also can use RSA3 with old and new datasource.

Hi,

0FI_GL_10 is General Ledger: Balances, Leading Ledger and 0FI_GL_1 is General Ledger: Transaction Figures.

0FI_GL_10

This DataSource extracts the totals records from the leading ledger in the new General Ledger

Delta Update

After Images Marked for Deletion via Extractor (FI-GL/AP/AR)

In the delta process, the DataSource transfers the record data with the new status in each case. For this reason, the data cannot be updated directly to the InfoCube. The update is only possible using the ODS object (update with MOVE).

0FI_GL_1

This DataSource is used to load General Ledger transaction figures (table GLTO) from the R/3 source system to the Business Information Warehouse.

No Delta update

No RemoteCube Compatibility
