Control on pricing condition

Can anyone tell me whether condition type can be controlled based on the order type through the program in requirement. Say for example i am having 10 conditions on a pricing procedure but in which one should be be activated only when we copy to new document type from the exisiting document

you have to develope a code in transaction VOFM, you have two options:

    1. Rule in copy control of sales documents

    2. Prequiset rule in pricing control

Could you give your business requirement?

Solution may be possible if you could give actual situation otherwise you could have different solutions which may not be meet your requirement.

    One solution is -

During sales order creation the relevant pricing procedure is determined based on the sales area, customer, and sales document type.

This pricing procedure has condition types and system reads each condition records and their accesses to arrive at the price.

The order type comes into picture only to determine pricing procedure.

So you could have a different combinations of sales area, customer and order types to arrive at different pricing procedures.

if you wanted the pricing condition in the same doc type, putting the conditin in pricing procedure would have been sufficient. Since you want these conditions to trigger only in a copied doc, you can create a new item cat in the new doc type and assign a requirement to the pricing condition type at the pricing procedure to check if this its new item cat then only execute the conditon. You can propose an item even from the copy control when we copy a document. It works just like when a quote is copied AGN changes to TAN at sales order OR.

    • Hi mahesh

As our friends already suggested , to maintain a requirement for that condition type. so as you want to get along with the same condition type i think you need to create a requirement and assign in the

      Alt cal type feild

As in requirement you may have to put some std requirements. say for condition type PR00 requirement is 2 (item with pricing) in such case you need to maintain a Alt calc type feild

where in that Alt calc type feild , you will be writing that if this condition is met then only it should trigger for that sales doc type. or else it should not.

      I hope this may work
