Missing RWD object during upgrade 4.6C to ECC6

Hello Gurus

We are performing an upgrade 46C to ECC6 on a DEV instance . The ( customer) development team is currently performing the DDIC adjustement step in the SPDD of the shadow instance .

The customer wanted to edit the former version of a an object ( /RWD/NOTELINKS/) in the RWD namespace ( from the shadow instance) but he had the following errror message : ' namespace RWD does not exists '.

He is now complaining on the upgrade 'overwriting' the objects contained in the RWD namespace and suggested to restart the Prepare from scratch 😔

My questions are :

- Is the RWD software shipped as an Add-on package whose upgraded version can be imported during the Prepare ( step IS_SELECT ), I understood that during this step only the SAP add-on were eligible to be included ?

- If I'm wrong how can we integer third party vendors Add-on in the prepare step and where can we can download this specific 'Add-on' ( Assuming I did not find any RWD add-on in the source system SAINT)

- I thought that the RWD software was implemented via Transport Orders whose file were downloadable from SAP service Market place, does it means that these transport can be imported later once the upgrade is completed ?

- Are the /RWD/ namespace and objects not visible from the Shadow instance because we are still in a 'transient' status as the offline step ( and table switch) did no occurs yet ?

Please can you help me in answering these questions ?

Thanks a lot .

Best Regards .
