Search Procedure @ Batch Determination

Hi MM Gurus!

For some reasons, standard Search Procedure ME0001 was removed or lost from our SAP system. Now I need to config Search Procdeure for batch determination.

The basic idea is that when GI, the system should pop up the batch with earliest expiration date.

Characteristcs and class have been defined and assgined to material. What are other steps to follow?

Anyone has any clue to set up new Search Procedure without "copy for reference"?

Hi Jason,

This is just a tip to restore standard data. In all installations where you have a development environment, you access a gold client for customizing, this client is a copy from sap standard system, delivered as client 000.

Even when you have this new client copy and somebody delete standard functions, the data remains in client 000.

So, my suggestion is to ask your basis team to grant you access to this 000 client for display only, and compare the information.
