Increase size of Marketing attributes field

Hi,

I have a requirement to increase the size of the marketing Attributes Attribute Value field to be more than 30 characters. Txn: CRMD_PROF_CHAR

From what I can see and looking through SPRO there seems no way to do this other than making a major system modification.

Can anyone confirm whether through enhancement or config. if this is possible or whether only a system modification can achieve this (which incidentally I hve no intentions of doing).
