Does anyone have any recommendations on maximum number of users per commstation?
Hi,
as this is dependent from many factors (average replication volume, usage/size of attachments, spreading of communication times) it is very hard to give some suggestion.
Some customer run one comm station with more than 200 Mobile clients, some are facing limitations already with 50 users.
Anyway a time schedule for the "allowed" replication times (especially in the morning and evening) for the Mobile users could optimize the system landscape and prevent from performance issues.
To monitor already installed Mobile clients you could use Tx SMWMCOMM.

Hi Peter,
The sizing requirements ideally end up depending on the data loads being synced via the Commstation. If you have high data loads (amount of data being transferred to and from MSA clients regularly), I guess it is wise to distribute this load via multiple Commstations.
