Hello Abapers,
I would like to know how java plays an important role in SAP implementation ?
Do we use java programming in SAP implementation.
can any one please explain me the same.
Thanks and regards,
Ranjith
Hi Abapers,
each, abap and java are important in the SAP world, you need to decide about several consideration before to chose what technology use. Something you can you both Java and Abap.
It depends on the scenario, functional processes, technology available on a project, abilities, experiences, and so forth.
Actually, in my experience, I think there are a lot of SAP project in the world on Java, but a lot of project are abap.

Vito

Hi Ranjith,
to develop in Java you need Netweaver Developer Studio, then you can userRFC (Remote Function Call) to call abap function from Java. Java/J2EE application can be deployed into SAP WAS e can be integrate into SAP Enterprise Portal.
For SAP Implementation I think you use abap, abap web dynpro, bsp, etc. etc. You can use also Java , as Java Web Dynpro, Portal Component, Java application, etc. etc.....
Hope this help.
Regards,
Vito
