Spam Alert! / How do we report spam in blog comments?

I can't see anywhere to report suspicious blog comments, I think this is an important feature.

The reason I found this out was that I wanted to report that the last comment on this blog contains a dodgy link. Please can someone follow up? Paging Jerry Janda

Hello Mike Pokraka Happy New Year

Good catch. I don't think we can do that now but I believe it is on the 2018 list for blog improvements (based on my faulty memory) cc Jamie Cantrell Moshe Naveh

I was able to trash the dodgy comment for now...I suppose until then you can report such problems here?

    • Hmm...I tried to remove part of my comment and ended up deleting all of the responses. Sorry about that. (I did see your complaints, Mike, and I noted them.)

I was incorrect to direct people to raise an alert about the overall blog/question, with an explanation that the alert was about a specific comment, as this penalizes the original poster.

The other two bits of advice are still valid.

      1. You can report spam via scnmoderators@sap.com.
      2. You can notify/ @mention me (such as in responding to the spam to help me find it).

      Sorry for the confusion!
