can anyone plz tell me what is form 24Q.

It is mandatory to fill the 24Qquarterly each financial year have 4 quarters

Thanks.I would like toknow what is the excat diff b/w form 24Q and form 16.Form 16 also contains all the details and this we submit to incometax office.

Hi Janhavi,

first i will define about what is form24Q and form 16

Form 24Q is full office purpose

Form 16 is full of Employee purpose

Form 24Q haveTotal EE's tax details in the organization

everycompany have to submit consolidated Tax details to IT department

In form16 individual EE details that is every EE

how much amount has been paid to IT that (financial year)details

if you have any more assistance on this?

hi jahnavi krishna,

this is simple to understand..

1) form 24-- it will used by the company.. like what are all the earnings and dections are paying..

2) form 16- it will be used by employee...how much the employee is paying tax (after the gross part,dedcutions and investments)..all these things you metion here in sections wise...

if u dint get plz let me know..

so,that i will eloborate more..

Hi Janhavi,

Finally Form 16 is for Employee, and Form 24 is a consolidation IT report which goes to the Govt IT department.

Hi

form 24Q will be used for Tax purpose and this will be submited to the IT office at the end of the financial year it contains all the details like ( Pan number,Total Tax ,surcharge,E Cess, Taxable income ) of all employees for the particulat organization

its very usefull and easy to generating Form16 .
