alternative accounts

Hi All,

I have a requirement where in I have to create the Alternative GL Accounts. Can anybody explain me in detail about Alternative GL a/c’s. My understanding is that alternative GL accounts falls under country chart of account.

We already have operating chart of accounts and “user has given us the list of alternative accounts which needs to be created.
