Hi!
We are planning to move our SAP Solution Manager 4.0 (none Unicode) system to a new server. When we do this we would like to do an oracle upgrade from: 10.1.0.4.0 to 10.2.0.2.0 and a Unicode conversion. Is it possible to do this in one step or do we need to upgrade first and then make the Unicode conversion? Could it be done by export/import functions in brtools?

If you do a Unicode conversion you need to follow the Unicode conversion guides at
http://service.sap.com/unicode@sap
Basically you will export the database using sapinst (including the Java part), delete the database, reinstall and recreate the database as UTF-8 database and re-import - all that using sapinst.
No br*tools involved.
