Problem with Customizing Logon Page

Hello,

I went through the process of customizing our logon page using the webblog "BSP/HowTo - Customizing the design of System Logon page in Netweaver '04". However, instead of using BSP in SICF, I used bw/BEX. The reason for this is that we already a modification with BEX and I wanted to undo the modifications and use customization. Thus, existing URLs on our intranet would not be affected.

It seems that everyyhing works but not the customization. I get the system logon screen but none of the custmomization. Is there a way to debug this to determine what went wrong?
