Issue with a workflow step- BO used: BUS7051

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we are adding a step in a workflow as we want PCR(Process change request) form to get dispalyed to a user's inbox(SAP Business workplace, Workflow inbox) and then proceed with the usual flow of the workflow.

To dispaly the same we are using the method "display" of standard BO BUS7051.

When i am testing the workflow thro' R/3, the user gets the workitem in his SAP Business workplace Inbox, he is able to view the form properly and then its moving onto the next step.

But when i am testing the same thro' Portal, the workitem comes to the user's Workflow Inbox, form is getting displayed properly for the first time but again when the user opens the form he is getting the msg " workitem locked by user...enqueue error".

Can any one plz help me out in resolving the same.

Regards,

Richa Sinha

Hi Aditya,

Thankyou for ur response. There were few lock entries for that user.

The Portal iView was actually calling a SAP Transaction but seems it was not getting closed properly.Tried closing the session through /nex then there wasnt any lock entries.

But still unable to understand why the SAP Transaction iView is not getting closed when not using /nex.

Any idea why is it so..??

Hi Aditya,

Thankyou for your response.

User has not opened any other session, nor from R/3 neither from Portal.

I tried using other methods for testing purpose such as Confirm,Edit but with all the methods same msg is displayed when user tries to open the Notification again.

Hi RS,

could you check SM12 if there is any update issues for your case.

Also check if the lock pertaining to your issue exists.
