Hi SAP PI experts,

We have an SFTP to Proxy scenario where in I'm archiving files on FTP server using an option given under advance settings.

There was an issue in production where a corrupt file blocked processing of all other good files. We are attempting to fix this issue by changing a setup in SAP PI to keep moving with rest of the files in case a corrupt file is received. For this we unchecked an option "Stop processing after faulty file" in SFTP sender channel but found that it is not working.

I also tried archiving faulty files by enabling the option given but even that is not working.

I tried both the option in Dev & QA but no luck.

Please let me know your inputs on this.

Regards,

Farooq

Hi Mohammed,

Enable the option Archive Faulty file in processing tab and provide the folder location of SFTP where you want to archive faulty files.

So, that faulty files will get archived it wouldn't effect remaining files to get processed.

Hi Pava,

I have the same problem as Farooq, we DO enable the option Archive Faulty file in processing tab and provide the folder location of SFTP where we want to archive faulty files, but the fualty file remains in the source folder and a copy is placed in the folder location of SFTP where we want to archive "successfully processed" files, not the "faulty" folder location specified.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Kathy
