getting error message :'Incident workflow not yet started, try again later'

Dear gurus,

I am facing the issue with incident life cycle, getting error 'Incident workflow not yet started try again later' , I have checked in SWEQADM transaction but not event with error linkage, no error in Automatic workflow customizing. Please suggest me how to rectify this error.

    Hi Chinniya,

    It means there is some technical error in the workflow and it failed to initiate. We found this type of error many times in our previous project and we find no standard way to resolve. We tried restarting the workflow so that it can trigger the notification again and might start properly. Other solution is to change the entries in the backend workflow tables so that we can manually change the status of the incident and create a new one.

    Thank you for your reply,

    I have tried to restart the workflow as you suggested but the workflow immediately turning to error again. Could you please guide me the other way how can I change the table entries to restart the workflow.
