0EC_PCA_1 does not bring any data

Does anybody know why the 0EC_PCA_1 does not bring any data.....even in RSA3 without any filter....ive checked the extractor and the problem is that table GLPCT is empty and extractor bring the data from it...i dont know FI but

Is there any process to fill that table?

Or its a version problem my system is a ECC 6.0

Or maybe another datasource is expected to be used in this case?

I am using the 0PCA_C01 infocube and theres no new version for it and 0EC_PCA_1 is the only one datasource for it....

Hi Oscar,

That's strange, that table is an application table, is not for only for BW.

A stupid question, but, is there any that in the client you are using? or is it a development client only?

Check transaction S_ALR_87013326 in ERP. If you don't get any data there, then there is no data in PCA, or there is something with the total tables.

Hope this helps.

Diego

Why not GL ? How do you want to go for PCA reporting if data is all stored in GL Tables ?

I need to load COORDER also.....i check and in GL_10 and 14 theres no field for this data....do i need to custom taht datasource or theres another option instead...

You can get Orders from Accounting Document Segment - BSEG ( AUFNR ), you can either use 0FI_GL_14 ( FAGLFLEXA, BSEG & BKPF ) or 0FI_GL_4 ( BSEG/BKPF ) as per the configuration on ECC.

You will not find Order in 0FI_GL_10 as it is more at summary level.

0COORDER - AUFNR does exist in 0FI_GL_14,

Hi Beekay,

I have one doubt about this solution:

Usually, you want to get PCA and CCA information instead of FI information because you can make adjustments and distributions that in FI you cannot do (or if you do them, you change the accounting and the changes you want are oriented to analysis). How do you get this information using FI?

Thanks,

Hi Diego,

I am not much into functional part of GL, not sure if this answers your question : Assessments are done in the new ledger allocating amounts from sender to receiver objects ( Book of record for Profit Center is only GL as Profit Center is incorporated in the new ledger now ).

Please share your knowledge on the same.

Thanks Beekay,

I'm not sure how the "new GL" works, but in the past, in controlling (PCA) you were able to make some adjustments that you don't wanted to be in the accounting.

I know that now you can have several ledgers, without needing to use Special Ledger, I guess this replaces the old functionality.

But what I've seen, is that even using new GL, you can get information from PCA datasources. It must be depending on the customizing made for GL and CO.

Hi Diego Thanks a lot for yoru answer....

I run the S_ALR_87013326 and theres no data in this report or any parameters...i set 2007 & 2008 and no record appears...

Some FI Analyst told me that GLPCT is an old table and now the records of PCA are stored in FLEX tables....

then... why extractor search in GLPCT....????

It may depend on how finance folks have configured in ECC.

Check out tables :

New - FAGLFLEXT - GL Totals - Datasource - > 0FI_GL_10

New - FAGLFLEXA - GL Line Items - Datasource - > 0FI_GL_14

OLD - BSEG/BKPF - GL Line Items - Datasource - > 0FI_GL_4

Currently we are not using PCA at all and the PCA reporting is all off GL.
