JCO Connection Pool Problem

Former Member

Hi

Using xMII 12.0.2 b88, I set up a new connection to SAP Client X. Unfortunately I used the wrong password (caps lock, grrr..)

Now whenever I try to connect to this client it doesn't matter what I put in the password, it doesn't work. If I switch off "Pool Connections" and type the correct password it works fine.

Is there a way to clear this connection pool? I tried JCO Proxy reset (XMII/JCOProxy?Mode=Reset) and ClearCache (XMII/Illuminator?Service=QueryCaching&Mode=ClearCache), but to no avail.

Thanks in advance

Nick

I would think ideally it should clear by itself.

Does it give you a Max Connection Pool Size exceeded error?

I guess restarting the JCO instance from the Netweaver Administration interface might help.

Thanks both of you. The reset option didn't seem to do anything, and the basis guy I was speaking to wasn't too familiar with where to find the JCO Instance restart in NWA, so we just restarted xmii on the server, and that cleared the problem.

regards

Try using

/JCOProxy?Mode=Reset&Target=Pool
