Can Crystal Reports append to an Excel Spreadsheet?

Hi All,

I work for a Hospice and I use Crystal to query my patient census. However I'd like to also automate graphing our census day-to-day over time. It is not possible, due to the set up of the Electronic Medical Record data source, to build a query that 'looks back" at the census for previous days. Right now we have to enter the census on an Excel Spreadsheet which then serves as the source for a chart of census over time.

I'm wondering if I can take the census figure gotten from my Crystal Report and automatically append it to my Excel spreadsheet rather than our needing to enter it manually.

    While Crystal can't do this, there are 3rd-party tools that can append to Excel or to database tables via export from Crystal.
