Hi,
I have problems in Portal and I have the NT backup and SQL Server backup.
Someone could tell me what to do to recover my Portal. Could I only restore the /usr diretory? Is it dangerous?
cheers,
Nivia
shouldnt be a problem to restore providing you are restoring to the original locations - ie you havent changed any hardware configuration, drives, servers etc.

I couldn't continue with the tests. There was an upgrade in the system.

Intrinsically the database and directory structure are tied together. You would definately have to restore both although MOST of the portal configuration and content is stored in the database.
