Hi Experts,

Can anybody tel me Fields for monthly sales qty and current inventory quantity of Product in SAP APO(SPP).

Hi,

Assuming you have made the settings required in Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), you should configure the Shortage Monitor to have visibility of the two data elements. Youu can use this function to analyze the shortage situation in more detail. Data on location products and on open sales orders is available to you here.

The subscreen Location Products View shows the current stock situation and additional key figures such as Open Quantity or Days’ Supply, with reference to the BOD entry locations of products.

The subscreen Sales Orders View shows all open sales orders for this selection.

Location Products View

You can evaluate the following information on the subscreen Location Products View:

Available stock

This key figure specifies the quantity of location products that are currently available.

Open quantity

This key figure defines the difference between the available quantity of location products and the quantity required to extend the days' supply beyond the range defined as being potentially critical, and therefore return the status of products to non-critical (see also Example: Days’ Supply and Open Quantity).

Days’ supply

This key figure specifies how long the current stock will last. The system either observes the average daily demand or the results of distribution resource planning (DRP). The system uses the greater of these two key figures to determine the days' supply (see also Example: Days’ Supply and Open Quantity).

Shortage status

The shortage status for a location product can be Non-Critical, Potentially Critical or Critical. You define the threshold values for the various statuses in Customizing for Advanced Planning and Optimization under: Supply Chain Planning ® Service Parts Planning (SPP) ® Monitoring ® Shortage Analysis ® Make General Settings for Shortage Analysis.

Sales Order View

You can evaluate the status of the selected sales orders on the subscreen Sales Order View: Information on products, ship-from locations, suppliers, sales order quantity and so on is available to you with reference to the sales order and sales order item.

Could you tel me where to find these fields as i want to calculate :--

Turnover

•std cost * average monthly sales qty of the last 12 months

Current inventory value

•std cost * current inventory quantity

Current Classification Code

Last count date

hi

Days supply - default we are getting 99999- and 3+ in shortage monitor, for all the products and display 3 noncritical.  required information is where to set these days supply. also sales orders qty is not matching

do we need to run the Shortage service daily

is the APO system integrated with ECC?

if so, Any reason why you cant get it from ECC? (not sure if this is because of SPP). Both Sales order Quantity and Inventory would be in ECC tables
