DN batch determination，how to achieve like this

The plant is batch and WM management, the DN is automatic created by VL10B.

The first item don't have the + flag, the batch number automatic in the batch filed.

The second item have the + flag(batch deermination activated).

In my option, the item with + flag is the standard behavior,and I want to know how to achieve the first item?through configuration or development?
