Storing of mail attachments ...

Hello,

I download mails from mailbox to XI and then I store message content (without attachments) to FTP. Is it posible to store the attachments? If so, how? Attachments can be in any format and their amount is not limited.

Thanks in advance

The only easy solution I can think about is: Use the PayloadZipBean to merge all attachments to one message, send it to the FTP server and extract the zip file with an OS command.

I configured my receiver FTP/FileAdapter as you describe in your blog. I inserted module PayloadZipBean before the adapter module and I configured both module parameters (zip.mode=zipAll, zip.filenameKey=contentType). You can check the configuration on 2 screenshots here http://www.volny.cz/kabrtz/Scenario/

But it seems the module is not using.

1. New message comes to XI. It contains main payload and a few attachments.

2. The receiver adapter stores just main payload to the FTP and moreover it's not zipped. The stored file is not binary and doesn't contain the attachments.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Or how could I find out where problem is.

From the screen shots I suppose that the patch level of your PI is not sufficient. You need XI 3.0 SP19 or PI 7.0 SP10

Thanks for advice. I found out that our XI version is 6.40 SP15. I'll ask basist administrator to upgrade the system and then I'll try it again.

We have upgraded our XI server and now it works correctly. Thanks a lot!
