Attach DMS document to workflow item

I have a requirement to trigger the workflow using z* module pool program and the workflow should trigger decision step for approva/rejection.

We have made DMS document number as input field.As soon as our Z* program gets execute it should trigger the workflow and the decision step should have corresponding DMS document as an attachment.

Can anyone provide the steps to perform this.

I got below link but that does not provide steps.

I am not sure whether this will help try calling T code CV03n during the workflow decision step so that user can see the document

Hi Stephane,

Not sure why you got angry on above query but anyways i have explained the scenario below.

I have created a module pool program which is triggering workflow and workflow is sending a workitem to the user's inbox for decision(it is simple and working fine).

Now the thing is we are passing DMS document number as input on selection screen i need help in fetching the DMS document and send it to the user for decision making.

Not sure how i can fetch the DMS doc content and how i can pass to workflow.

Could you suggest.

From what I read the link in your in your question is providing the real basis of your answer.

One thing that we do not do here is doing your job ... You can ask question but must provide the things you have done, we are not giving you a step by step instruction, it is not the way this community works.

We can provide general way of achieving a goal (like your link) but you have do your part.
