Hi Guys,
I am trying to upload data from excel into PCA (ECC) using transaction code 7KEX. There is an entry for 'File Description'. I am not sure what/how to create the entry? Please tell me where to maintain the File Descriptions.

The file description was created automatically after fillin g up the entries in planner profile (f5) overview screen.

The file description ensures that an (Excel) file is imported correctly into the system. Generic file names assign the file description to the Excel file.
File descriptions are used in two cases:
Excel integration in planning
The file description is created automatically in planner profile maintenance. You can change it by moving the cells and columns.
You can use a single file description for several planner profile positions that have an identical planning layout.
Flexible Excel upload in EC-EIS
You create the file description manually and link the cell contents
with sender structures. You can create key areas, header areas and value areas.
