Hi

I have a process which is in 'HOLD' status for a very long time and the reason is shown as 'aRFC' . I do see a related job still running in sm37 but I would like to know what is taking it more time? How do I get the indepth details and what transactions I can use?

With SM66 I get the work process but it doesn't give me the details of the process that is causing the HOLD status

SM37 job status is running and no errors logged

Any suggestions please?

Hi,

It seems like the process is on " hold" waiting for some aRFC to finish.

In order to figure out that specific function, you can ask the programmer that wrote that job (in case it's an in-house job) or use traces (ST12/ST05/SE30/SAT) and/or debugging (more in-depth details in here , here and here).
