Hello all..

can anyone help me in overcoming the issue that i am facing while creating a folder inside a folder in DMS.

I used BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 to create a folder in which i passed the other documents in the Document structure table to this bapi. Even though, the folders are not getting created in side the header folder as shown below..

dms-folders.jpg

in this example i want to create folders for ZSN inside Z02.

Can anyone help me please !

Much appreciated.

Hi,

maybe the function module EASYDMS70_DOC_BOM_CREATE or EASYDMS_FOLDERCREATESIMPLE

could be useful for you.

Best regards,

Christoph

Hi Christoph.. thank you for your quick reply.. but these FMs not helping me :(

I followed the sequence of Bapi's as follows :\

1: BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLATEST2 " *get whole structure

2: BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATEFROMSRC2 " * create documents

3: BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 " save documents for header

is there anything that i am missing on technically/ in customisation ?

Also i would like to add that, Document type Z02 is a hierarchy which has ZSN assigned to that. so when i use Bapi

BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 and attached those ZSN documents to the document structure, then it creates the structure as shown in the snippet attached.

Hi,

do you use BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT as well when creating new documents (BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATEFROMSRC2) and after saving documents to the header (BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2)?

Christoph
