Hi Experts,

Please find the requirement as below.

There will be a dropdown list for following three properties of the same dimension as below.

And there will be three derived cells which will be derived from the cells (G46, G47 and G48)

Scenario:

If I select a value from cost center dropdown list , cost center Derived cell(K46) should be populated with the value selected from cost center drop down list(H46) and the other two derived cells (K47 and k48) should become blank.

Similarly, if I select a value from Budget manager drop-down list, Budget manager derived cell should be populated with the value selected from Budget manager drop-down list(H47) and the other two derived cells (K45 and k48) should become blank.

Is there a way we can achieve a solution for the above requirement.

Finally, I will use cells K46, K47 and K48 for dimension override so that at any given point of time rows in the report will be displayed only based on only one property value.

Thanks,

Siva

select means nothing for Excel. Add option button group to provide selection.

Please read again my answer!

Combo box selection is not related to the solution.

First you need to provide user a selection of method: by cost center or by manager or by analyst. This selection can be done using option group. Do you understand what I am talking about?

P.S. As an alternative you can use extra combo box to select method!
