Error & Warning in Automatic Fee Calculation

Hi Experts,

We are getting error while running the automatic fee calculation in student accounting--> Fee Calculation --> Fee Calculation

ERROR MESSAGE:- " Type Message text LTxt

Number of students processed in this fee calculation run: 1

No academic period assigned to fee calculation period SEM2

No academic period assigned to fee calculation period SP07

Error while updating account data for student 00001552 and date 14.04.2008

"

In IDES server, IMG activity we have define the period key SEM1, SEM2 and assign this key to Academic Year and Session (2007-08, semester 1).

Kindly help us in resolving the issue.

How many Period Keys include the Fee Calculation Date in your setup? Normally I would expect only one. If you have multiple, then it is possible that you have not assigned academic sessions to all of them. However, in that case, you should still be able to process for the sessions that are resolved. First, you should clean up the customizing so that only one Period Key is found.

Next, I would say that the real error here is with the Contract Account for the student. It looks like the system may be successfully calculating fees for SEM1, but is unable to post the result due to some Contract Account error.
