SAFTY STOCK PLANNED KEY FIG RESULTS

DEAR ALL,

I AM NEW TO SNP .WHILE DOING SNP INTERACTIVE PLANNING RUN ( NETWORK & MULTILEVEL HEURISTICS) I AM NOT GETTING ANY RESULTS IN ROW " SAFTY STOCK

(PLANNED)" .CAN ANYBODY GUIDE ME HOW TO GET

RESULTS IN THIS ROW?

KEY FIG RELATED TO "SAFTY STOCK (PLANNED)" IN MICROBUILDER AND IN THE PLANNING BOOK IN APO VERSION 3.1 BUT INTERACTIVE SNP PLANNING SCREEN IS SHOWING THIS KEY FIG AS INPUT KF.STILL

I AM NOT ABLE TO GET RESULTS IN IT. CAN YOU PLS HELP ME,WHAT TO DO NEXT?

safety stock (planned) is an auxillary Kf. you will find it in the Planning book - KF attributes tab if you drop down on the Kf field. Most probably it will be called "STOCK"

the macro called "Safety Stk/Reorder Point/Targt Stock Lvl" in the planning book you are using is the one that populates it

you just need to make sure its active and the date range is right etc. SAFETY_CALC( ACT_PRODUCT ; ACT_LOCATION ; ACT_VERSION ; is the macro function that calculated the SS

to get Safety stock populated, you need to have your masterdata for safety stock setup.

You will also need to run some kind of planning to populate it or run the safety stock planning job -

Many Thanks for your guidance.I am useing APO 3.1 where 9ASSP-SAFTY is not available for copy standard planning book.I am using 9ASNP01 & 9ASNP02.

Is there any other way?

IN any case, you can check the macro workbench (/sapapo/advm) and check the code to see which key figure is input and which one is output. The code will show a safety stock function detail of which you can always find in the help.sap.com (In link

To my knowledge safety stock planned should be an input key figure to enter time phased quantities. I think you can get all sufficient information from this piece of infor and help link.

Safety stock planned is an input key figure and not an output key figure. IT is used for time-phased safety stock planning. Make sure you try to copy of SAP standard planning books on safety stock planning namely 9ASNP_SSP (SAFETY)

Check the macro for Safety Stock in your dataview which will let you know the input KF and output KF
