Byproducts customisation

Dear Friends

Please guide for customization of the following process:-

Product A (Sugar) is manufactured from Raw Material B (Sugar cane) and other additives and ingredients. In the process, two important byproducts are generated. These byproducts are of economic importance and required to be valuated.

The proportion of byproducts is not fixed and depends upon season and place of origin.

Which process we would use for this scenario.

Thanking you

Sanjeev

Hi, this is a standard production with co-products (or sub-products)

Basically, the correct process depends on how are you going to valuate the co-product. If it has a standard value, or should the production order settle not only to the finished product but also settle to eh co-product.

You will find a lot of documentations in the sap help.
