Regarding downtime

hello guys,

i have created the production order and system has scheduled the order.According to system Order finish date is 8.04.2008.But due to some reason(tool breakage, unavailability of labor) it took more time than the scheduled date. It got delayed for 4 hours. Then while doing the confirmation i want to mention this downtime separately.so where can i give this time. And its not that this has happened one time.It happens frequently.so i want to see for each order whats the downtime.

will i have to add one more field in operation confirmation for this time or is it already given somewhere?

1.Actually This is one of the inability ofSAPto capture the downtime exclusively and give itas a standard report

2.You have to use some of the un used fields in the co11n like reason for variance - for entering the reason for downtime..

aand one of the activity fields ( if you havent used all the 6 activities) for capturing the hours.

    3. with above entreies we need to customise a Z development to get the downtime..

I dont think any other standard method is availbale to capture the downtime..

let me know if you need more help

    Hi

In SAP the down time maintenance is done in plant maintenance. If u r using PM also please consult those guys. If not manually change the time in production order before confirmation.
