I have an unlinked, on-demand subreport that uses a parameter field to allow users to locate information related to a specific job. I only want the parameter field prompt to show up after the user has clicked on the subreport however no matter what I do, the parameter window prompts the user when opening the main report and not the subreport. I would love to somehow link the reports however each report is from a different database. Any suggestions?

Hi Megean,
Unfortunately, there is no way to control this behavior in Crystal Reports.
If there are prompts in the report (man report or subreport), the first thing you'd see on refresh is the prompts.
