Hi,

I want to configure an absence type in IT2001 which would deduct leave without pay (LWOP) deduction for half day. Can someone guide me the configuration steps.

Thank you

Hi Sami

If you want the system to deduct the amount we have to maintain the Value of Processing 10 as 1 in the above mentioned table for all those wage types as leave wop means you will deduct the amount accordingly thats why its here.

Hi Tasneem,

Thank you very much for your help. There is a little issue with our scenario. Client wants to maintain both the Infotypes IT2001 and IT2011 for the same date. Consider the below scnearios

Scenario 01: Employee is half day absent on a particular day and Time Events IT2011 (08:00 to 12:30) and half day Absence IT2001 with subtype Z021 (12:31 to 17:00) are maintained, considering employee normal shift timings are from 08:00 to 17:00. In this case, both the Infotypes are maintained, but half day salary is not deducted from employee’s account. User requirement is to maintain both the Infotypes (IT2001 and IT2011) with different time events for a same date for reporting point of view and half day salary should be deducted as per the rule.

Scenario 02: Employee is half day present on a particular day and Time Events IT2011 (08:00 to 12:30) and NO half day Absence IT2001 is maintained, considering employee normal shift timings are from 08:00 to 17:00. In this case, only Time Events of employee are captured and half day salary is deducted from employee’s payroll. This scenario meets the business requirement for half day salary is deducted.
