Show & hide values using buttons

HI,

I have a report where in I have the 2 keyfigures and 3 formulas present

Intially only 2 keygigures are displayed where as 3 formulas are hided i.e hided but can be shown

Now I have 2 buttons in my template Show and Hide when I click on show it should display 2 keyfigures in the report and when I click on hide it should hide 2 Keyfigures and show 3 formulas

How can this be done in WAD 7.0

Thanks in advance

The same effect can be achieved by creating two separate queries, one with the KF's shown and Formulas hidden and the other with KF's hidden and Formulas shown.

You can put both of these queries into the WAD with the second hidden as default. You can, via the command wizard, create your 'Hide' and 'Show' buttons to switch the display properties of your queries from hidden to visible and vice versa. Which will switch between the required views.

I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way to do it but it is a possibilty.

Thanks for your replyIf I am make 2 seperate Queries the problem is that even I have navigation pane in my template , as soon as I make 2 reports and try to move the charcterstics from free chars to rows or cols in the navigation pane it will effect only one query nut not two queries , so I need a solution where in I want to make only one query

      Thanks
