hi

i have gone through some of the forums

and i have seen the navigation that

SA-> SC->um configuration -> direct editing

but i cannot seem the direct editing in the portal

what is the proccedure that help me show the direct editing

in the portal and i want make the down load the pak file

in to NWDS from the portal to make changes to the jsp

where can i find this in , iam EP 7.0

Hi,

Dierct editing is not available under UMConfiguration in EP7.0. It exists in EP6.0. For doing changes, you have to go for Visual admin or config tool.

Hi,

The navigation to direct editing you specified is correct.

Direct editing is not a naviagtion node under um configuration , but a tabbedpane in the content area, when you navigate till

SA-> SC->um configuration.

I am not sure, what par file you want to download, please be more specific.

In EP7.0 direct editing is no longer provided inside the portal.

You need to use the ConfigTool utility to modify the UME service.
