Hello ..
I have created a table in BW with two fields. I need to enter some values in it. How do I do it? Do I have to load it from a flat file (is that even possible), or can I manually enter values?
Thank you
Kashka.
Thanks Teja
I have only a few records to enter in the table, so here's what I did so far:
In the table, I clicked on the Table maintenance generator
In the authorization group, I selected w/o authorization (not sure if this is correct)
I'm not sure what to enter in Function group
What is maintenance type - one step/two step, and overview screen/selection screen?
Since I ddn't know what I was doing anyway, I selected two step, and entered 1 in overview screen and 2 in selection screen.
Then I went to transaction sm30, entered the table name and hit enter. I get a message saying The maintenance dialog for tablename is incomplete or not defined.
Please advise!
Thank you,
Kashka.

Hi
If the volume of data is high then writing an ABAP Program would be a better option..If the number of records are less, then you can use the table mainitanance generator facility provided and further use transaction sm30 to maintain the table.......
Thanks,
Teja
