sum1.pngbrtool1.pngbrtool2.pngPlease help.

We are able to run SUM and when we give ddic and sap database user system password, the provided password is not accepting. But the same password is working at command line.

We have already started sap services using sapcontrol and there is no issue and we were able to start sapstartsrv services as well.

Tried with latest sap kernel patch but no luck.

There is an error SQL error 12705(ORA-12705) and there is no error when we try the phase using brtools(screen shot brtool2).

please check below screen shot as well. The NLS parameter is set correctly.

We are stuck now.Please help

Hello,

unfortunately you both did not provide details like SUM version used and operating system (or I didn't see it), this is always helpful.

My recommendation is to check the section "SUM is not able to check the password of SYSTEM DB for specific setups" in SAP note 2532617.

Regards,

Hello Noufal, were you able to get a solution for this issue? I am getting the exact same message.

Trying to upgrade with SUM from R/3 46B to ERP 6 EHP7

Executing /sum/SUM/abap/exe/brconnect -u -c -f dbstate -RDB by hand works just fine, but with the SUM does it the error appears.

Any info would be helpful 🙂

Regards!
