PM - Changing Equipment status based on the assigned order status

Hi Dears,

I'm wondering if the status of an equipment can automatically be changed by changing the status an order that was opened to maintain this equipment.

i.e. In the status profile of the Maintenance order, i added a status (OPSP - Order pending on spare parts)

And also i added a status to the equipment status profile (ATPO - Assigned to pending order)

Users will change the order status manually to OPSP in case there is no material availability, and want the status of the equipment to be changed automatically to ATPO.

Your help is much appreciated.

Talk to an ABAP Consultant, as I believe you can (only) achieve this with ABAP-coding in UserExit or BAdI (such as "WORKORDER_UPDATE"). See a List of PM UserExits / BAdI's : link)
