Archiving SAP Solution Manager 7.1, Test Management

I would like to know if it is possible to archive data from the Solution Manager 7.1, specifically from the Test Management Module area (IWBSOLAR) that is part of the Knowledge Warehouse, and if there is an official description that can verify this. An official SAP note states that test packages and documents cannot be archived (see section 7.1 Archiving Functionality in SAP Solution Manager at Applications Operations Guide). But under point 7.2 it is again stated that one can alternatively use a transport request and store data on a file server and use the content server for the KW. Another article states that you can alternatively use the report SOLMAN_DOCU_VERSION_ARCHIVE to archive data from the KW. I am now confused and wanted to ask for helpful solutions to my question.
