Hi Friends

I have a scenario : In a HR Dept there are 3 org units -training ,recruitment ,administration .Training and Adminstration are assigned cost from the HR Dept and recruitment division is assigned cost from Corporate (i.e. a different cost center).

By default cost center assigned to HR Dept is inherited to the 3 org units then how will we assign a different cost center to the recruitment division.

Hi Ritu,

If you want to assign cost center for a division,..GOTO PPOS_OLD -> select the unit -> select GOTO from the top menu > select Account assignment> then select the Account assignment from top menu then select disply change.

then select the org unit--> and select the master cost center option or press F7 to create a cost center which pop ups small window where you can assign your cost center and save the screen. The resulting will also creates the realtionship in PP02,. If you want you can check PP02 for realationships.

Hi,

To assign a different cost centre, go to tcode PP01.

Select object type o - Org. unit, enter org. unit( Recruitment) id.

Then select relationship infotype and click on overview.

From the overview screen, select cost center assignment relationship and click on "change" icon. Enter a required cost center id and save.
