Line Editor for Routing Text to Copy a Block (STRG+Y)

Former Member

Hi,

before we changed our Release from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 the planner saved their textlines for routings with line-editor (the durations for operation in one column). After ending they copied the block via STRG+Y into EXCEL and get the sum.

Now the line-editor has changed and that command isn't yet possible.

Has anybody an idea how to get the old line-editor with the possibility of STGR+Y? Or has the line-editor (also in SO10) has changed irrevocably?

Thanks and best regards

Chris

Hi Christinane,

in SO10 you can go in the menu-bar goto->change Editor.

Try it, and you change into the line-editor.

Hi,

that's not my question. The problem is, that the user changed in Release 4.6C from Texteditor to Line Editor and used them to copy a block with numbers. In Release NW 7.0 it exists a line editor, but that is not the same as in Release 4.6 C. I only wanted to know, if I can switch from the "new" line editor in NW7 to the line editor in 4.6C and can go on to copy blocks with STRG+Y or if that function is not yet possible.

Many thanks

Chris

Hi Christiane,

copy the whole line with strg+y and paste it in excel. then use data->text in col and split as you need.

i think there is now way in SAP.
