Cost Center Change

Dear All,

We have implemented SAP ( FI/CO and HR) in 2004 and right now upgrading has been going on ECC 6.0.

The client wants to re-structure cost center hierarchy ( delete and create new Hierarchy + Cost Center).

I request you to all, please kindly give your opinions about the changes which is already functioning in the system and what are the impacts that can foresee due to these changes.

If any one of in the forum faced the above same situation in earlier and results achieved, please share with me.

Hi,

Re- structing of cost centre hierarchy is good in view of all the unused nodes will be gone.

If you want to create a new hierarchy, go forward. but if you r changing the names of the cost centrres , map the old to new and upload the transaction data respectively.
