Conditions cannot be created in distribution channel

hi all

while uploading condition record through VK11, i am getting this error "Conditions cannot be created in distribution channel 12"

where is the setting where i can restrict uploading records at distribution level..??

Hi,

Define the distribution channel in the common distribution channel in the customization screen.

in enterprise structure-assign - common distribution channel

It is defined and assigned, there are three Distribution channel maintained and i can upload data in other two but not on one.

Go to VOR1 for common distribution channel

Go to VOR2 for common divisions

Hi

Please check in your enterprise structure whether there are sales areas with the combination of sales organisation 1000 and distribution channel 12. You might have missed to create a sales area with this combination.

Please check and post the findings.

hi,

1.check the sales area assignment

2.check sales area should be extended to your material/customer/key combination used.

3.in ovkk maintain sales area & other parameters.

Dear Sumeet

The error says that the sales area of customer and material is different and that is why you face the problem. For example, assume you have sales areas as follows:-

a) Customer::::::::1000/10/00

b) Material:::::::::::1000/20/00

In the above case, the distribution channel is different and hence the probelm. Maintain the same sales area and then retry.

I get the error before entering the material. The message is

Conditions cannot be created in distribution channel 12

Diagnosis

You have attempted to create condition records for distribution channel

12. This function is not allowed, because in sales organization 1000,

distribution channel 12 is not assigned to a distribution channel which

is used in a sales document.

System Response

It is not allowed to enter conditions in distribution channel 12 (sales

organization 1000).

Procedure

Check whether you have selected the correct distribution channel and whether the distribution channels are assigned correctly in Customizing.In addition, it is possible that, in Customizing, another distribution channel has been assigned to this distribution channel as a reference

for the conditions.
