Hello,

Dynamic actions are are used to trigger automatic processing when infotypes are maintained. For example if you change an associates position in infotype 1 our setup is triggered to launch the planned working hours then the salary infotype becuase a change in position usually means a change in working hours, pay, or both.

The actions are configured in the IMG through the menu path.

Personnel Management->Personnel Administaration->Customizing Procedures->Dynamic Actions.

There is some really good documentation on the left side of the dynamic actions node that SAP provides. I hope this helps with what you are looking for.
