Publish a BSP page.

Dear Expert,

I am trying to publish a BSP page on the portal. How can i obtain the parameter?

Customer Namespace

Application Namespace

Business Server Page (BSP) Application

Start Page

I have try to look for it in SE80, but can't find it.

The second thing is i already define /webdynpro/dispatcher as the WEB AS path in my system configuration which is meant for the web dyn pro application.

If i am not mistaken, i need to specify this in the WEB AS path?

sap/bc/bsp/sap

If it is necessary, what should i do?

Currently i am using SAP_ITS_EBU as system alias. is there any default system alias that i can use?

Thanks

Regards,

Bryan

    Dear Brian,

With the BEx Explorer, execute the BSP page. You'll obtain an URL similar to this one:

    http:// . xxx.com: / /bc/bsp/ / /< startPage.htm>

Usually, if the BI installation is standard, it should look like this one:

    http:// . xxx.com: /sap/bc/bsp/sap/ /< startPage.htm>

Use the parameters shown before to set up your IView.

    Regards, Fede

The code behind the BSP applications can be viewed and edited using transaction SE80.

Before the BSP applications can be viewed, the service must be activated in transaction SICF. The services can be found in the following location:

    SAP --> BC --> BSP --> SAP

after activating the service, you can view the bsp application using SE80. You will find some pages with extension .htm.. Try to find which is the initial screen for the bsp application. for eg: your initial screen name is first.htm

then your startpage will be first.htm

give customer namespace and application namespace as sap

    give your bsp application name

specify the WAS path as sap/bc/bsp/sap

    Hi Lee,

    Customer Namespace -- SAP

    Application Namespace --- SAP

Business Server Page (BSP) Application --- Your Application name

Start Page --- check for default or the first page which is shown when u execute your application in se80.

    About WAS:

    WAS host : <wasserver>.<domain>.com:<port>

      Hi,

System Alias is the name used to point to the corresponding backend system which you have created in System Admin-> System Configuration

Also if you are using SAP_ITS_EBU it seems you are working with ESS BP.

You can go to system configuration and search for the corresponding systema and change the alias name as well. However in that case you will be required to change the alias name specified in all the iviews.

      Hope this clears your doubt.

      regards
