    Hello Jaturong ,

please check , that you are using the current EXT2 Installation Media for your Installation

Please see SAP Note : 928727 DB6: SAP System Inst. with EXT Kernel on UNIX

If in doubt , please tell us your Installation/Kernel CD Number for review .

    jaturong,

create the instance without specifing the -w 64.

    Since V9.1 the -w 64 is deprecated.

    Best regards,

    Joachim

    Hi Jaturong,

if the instance exist, just restart R3SETUP.

If no instance was created, create the instance manually (as root: /opt/IBM/db2/V9.1/instance/db2icrt -a SERVER_ENCRYPT -u db2rqa db2rqa ), and restart R3SETUP.

    regards Siegfried
