Hi

If you want the fiscal year to be from January to December, then you have to select the calendar year check box, if you dont want your fiscal year to be a calendar year then, you need not check the calendar year check box & you can customize your own periods.

If it helps, plz assign points.

Hi,

Here you need to understand the system whether January is 1st posting period or 10 th posting period? if its indian scenario we use fiscal year is apr 1st present yr to mar 31st following yr, then Jan is 10th posting period, apr is 1st posting period, like European countries they use fiscal yr is Jan 1st to dec 31st same yr that means jan is 1st and dec is 12th posting period. here if you tick the check box"calender yr" then you need not tell the system about your periods, bydefault system will take Jan is 1st and Dec is 12th posting period..

Hope understood and you can assign points if you are cleared..

Thanks,

Vasu...

Hi

If the posting periods defined in Fiscal year variant are as per calender year periods then this box has to be ticked.

Plz assign points if it is helpful.
